Daily Gratitude.

Reading Time: 1 minute

With all the negative shit we hear daily, it’s increasingly more important to take time to stop and think of all the things that are good in life. To be grateful for those things.

For me personally, I’ve started keeping a daily gratitude journal. It’s a quick daily practice that helps me stop and think about what I’m grateful for. My notes span everything from family and friends, to health, career, to the simple things in life like a small gesture someone made to me that day. It matters less what you write, and more that you just write something.

I’m finding it’s a great way to start the day. I do it directly after meditating. The meditation part is optional 🙂

I tend to write 3-5 things I’m grateful for. One short sentence each. It takes only a couple minutes. The clarity and sense of optimism that it generates far outweighs the time investment.

It’s a good reminder that life is good and that much of the negative we hear and see daily is just noise.

Give it a try!
